Codes

The HK construction
knowledge base.

80,000+ Hong Kong codes, standards, circulars, and Building Authority conditions — maintained, indexed, and updated daily. The domain layer powering Check and Ask — and the differentiator general LLMs simply don't have.

HK-specific, end to end

HKSMM4, HKIA Standard Form, CIC codes, Building Authority conditions, DevB circulars, government press releases.

Maintained daily

Web-crawler ingests new revisions from trusted public sources every 24 hours, under Pyramid engineer supervision.

Domain-trained

General LLMs hallucinate on HK construction terminology and regulation. Pyramid is trained on the actual corpus.

Mandatory AI Adoption in Capital Works Projects
  • The Development Bureau has issued Technical Circular (Works) No. 3/2026, setting out the policy and requirements for AI adoption in the Capital Works Programme.
  • Scope. Applies to consultancies with a pre-tender estimate exceeding $15 million and works contracts exceeding $30 million, for tenders invited on or after 1 June 2026.
  • Requirements. Employers must specify the use of AI in consultancy briefs and tender documents, referencing the “Inventory of Adopting AI in Capital Works Projects.” Contractors' AI proposals are reviewed against these baseline requirements.
  • Continuous update. The Inventory is a living document, refreshed by the Development Bureau as AI technology evolves.
  • Broader use. Project offices are encouraged to deploy other AI-related technologies beyond the baseline to enhance project performance.

How it works
  1. STEP 01

    Continuous ingestion

Pyramid's web-crawler retrieves every public HK construction code, standard, and government circular.

  2. STEP 02

    Engineer-supervised structuring

Domain engineers organise content into queryable knowledge sets per discipline — landscape, structural, M&E, fire, safety.

  3. STEP 03

    Feeds Check and Ask

Updates flow automatically into your deployments. No version mismatch, no superseded clauses.

>90%
Engineering accuracy

Benchmarked on a 500-question set drawn from HK Building Authority codes, HKSMM4 and DevB circulars. General-purpose assistants — even those grounded in public web — fall short on jurisdiction-specific construction queries.
