Ask about Singapore rules the way you already do for Hong Kong, and Open Library answers from the official source. It now holds over 10,000 documents from 17 Singapore government bodies — SCDF's Fire Code, BCA circulars and standards, URA's Master Plan, CORENET X's Code of Practice, PUB, LTA, NEA, MOM and the WSH Council, and parliament records going back to 1955. Every answer shows the document it came from, and Hong Kong and Singapore stay separate, so your team only sees the country it works in.
Improvements
- Platform — Share a project with everyone in your organisation, or by a link. Both are view-only, and you can switch either off whenever you like
- Platform — Add a group of colleagues to a project in one go, rather than one person at a time
- Check — A Bill of Quantities turned into Excel now matches the original: same item numbers, same order, full descriptions and quantities
Fixes
- Agents — Photos and PDFs you attach in Next Gen chat now work for every kind of question, not just drawing comparisons and site safety photos
- Agents — Chat no longer tells you it can't see your image after you have uploaded one
- Platform — Questions no longer fail with an error message instead of an answer
- Platform — Excel and PDF files that used to fail when you added them now go through
- Check — A Bill of Quantities no longer gets stuck on “Reading document structure”, so there is no need to refresh the page

When priced Bills of Quantities come back from subcontractors and you consolidate the numbers, the BoQ Checker now does the arithmetic check for you. It reads the printed rate and quantity on every line and confirms each total equals rate × quantity — flagging the lines that don't add up, so a QS no longer has to re-check thousands of rows by hand.
It works straight from the scanned PDF submissions: Pyramid extracts each bill into a clean Excel that mirrors the source — item numbers, row order, quantities, units and full descriptions, with section headings kept separate — so the figures it checks line up with the document exactly.
Improvements
- Check — New line-total check: reads the printed rate and quantity and verifies total = rate × quantity on every item, flagging any mismatch
- Check — Faithful PDF-to-Excel extraction: correct item numbering and source row order, accurate quantities and units, complete descriptions, and section headings kept out of item text
Fixes
- Check — Bills that previously failed to extract now process successfully
- Check — Items are no longer dropped from the extracted table

Chat is now agentic. Ask Pyramid to do the work and it plans the task, shows its thinking as it goes, and calls on 40+ skills purpose-built for construction — from measurement and compliance to drawings and safety. Attach PDFs and images straight into the conversation, watch each step complete in a live task list, and get real deliverables back: downloadable reports, registers and marked-up files, rendered right in the chat. Next Gen chat is rolling out per organisation — ask us to switch it on for your team.
The headline new skill is drawing comparison. Upload two versions of a drawing and Pyramid renders both at matched resolution, computes the exact change, and marks up every region that moved — then hands back a difference report, a zoomed change register, and an annotated overview. Each change is listed and explained in plain language ("substantial revision to seating, radial access and perimeter geometry"), so a reviewer sees what changed between revisions in seconds instead of overlaying prints by eye.
Improvements
- Platform — New Agents and Skills management in System Settings: admins can browse and configure the agents and skills available to Next Gen chat, backed by the shared Pyramid registry
- Codes — Open Library retrieval is sharper for document-code lookups and Chinese-language (CJK) queries, with answers grounded more tightly in the cited source
Fixes
- Platform — Attachments now upload directly to secure storage, so large PDFs send reliably and a message can't go out before its files finish uploading
- Agents — Generated artifacts such as marked-up drawings keep working after a reload instead of expiring or triggering a browser security warning

Drag in a Primavera P6 .XER export and Schedule Intelligence reads the whole programme, then interrogates it the way a planning engineer would — DCMA quality checks, earned value (EVMS), S-curves, resource histograms, look-ahead, float and critical path, and phase and discipline breakdowns. It also builds a risk register from what it finds and drafts a response letter you can work from.
Activities are grouped into phases either from a WBS mapping you upload or inferred automatically from your WBS structure and activity names, so you get a phase view even when the programme wasn't built with one. The analysis runs entirely in your browser, supports P6 XER v6.0 – v23.x, and a demo programme is one click away if you'd like to see the full output before uploading your own. Rolling out as a Pilot — ask us to switch it on for your organisation.
Improvements
- Codes — Added the EMSD codes of practice and technical guidelines, including the Building Energy Efficiency Ordinance material, after a customer flagged the gap
- Connect — Questions about the latest circulars over MCP now read newest-first, so asking for "the latest technical circulars from DevB" returns current ones rather than answering from older material
- Platform — Invitation emails now consistently use the organisation name your admin configured
Fixes
- Ask — Asking for a summary of every chapter in a long document now returns an answer instead of retrieving the sources and stopping
- Codes — Contacts in the HK Government Directory now link to the officer you asked about instead of another similarly listed name
- Check — "Continue with check" on a Bill of Quantities no longer stops with an error partway through
- Platform — Scanned documents now have their text extracted without being marked for OCR by hand, so content that appeared to import but couldn't be found in chat is retrievable
- Platform — Documents that previously failed during processing, including several large guideline manuals, now import successfully
- Platform — Organisation owners and system admins can upload, process and sync organisation documents again
- Platform — Custom roles such as Org Admin and Project Admin now carry the permissions they are granted, so admins holding them can invite members again
- Platform — Members without admin rights can no longer open Settings pages other than their own Profile

Upload a Bill of Quantities and the Checker matches every priced line item to the right Standard Method of Measurement (SMM) rules, surfacing what's missing, mis-measured, or extra. Your QS team reviews a short list of real issues instead of combing through thousands of lines by hand.
Benchmarked against 400+ real BoQ items reviewed by domain experts, the Checker now reaches ~90% accuracy — ready to run on live projects.
Improvements
- Check — More accurate SMM section routing: pipework is no longer mistaken for drainage, and watermains and rising mains are now recognised, so valid items are no longer swept into "remove"
Fixes
- Check — Uploading a document to run a compliance check without typing a message no longer shows an error; file-only checks now process normally

Open Library now understands which government department you're asking about and keeps its collection of circulars, standards and publications current as they are updated. The result is more accurate, better-sourced answers, with the most relevant and up-to-date guidance surfaced first.
Improvements
- Codes — Added more DSD and WSD material, and department-specific searches now return the right department's documents for HyD, CEDD, DSD and WSD
- Codes — Answers now separate current requirements from proposed changes, drawing on the latest circulars, consultations and press releases
- Codes — Recognises industry shorthand such as "4S" (Smart Site Safety System) and cites the official source
- Ask — Open Library is always reachable in chat now, with earlier hangs and occasional errors resolved
Fixes
- Ask — Global chat no longer answers from a single project by mistake; it searches only what you've selected
- Codes — Source detail panel now loads for image-only document segments instead of erroring

Two new AI tools bring method statements into Pyramid. The Method Statement Writer turns a short task description into a complete RAMS document referenced to Hong Kong regulations, including a 5×5 risk matrix, step-by-step work procedure, PPE schedule, ITP hold points and an illustrated safety guide, all in about a minute. The Method Statement Checker reviews a contractor's submission the way a senior Resident Engineer would, testing 12 technical areas and 14 safety aspects and returning a severity-tiered, code-referenced mark-up with paste-ready proposed revisions. Both are rolling out as a Pilot.
Improvements
- Check — Two new check types, Design Compliance and Drawing Difference, added to the check selector (Pilot)
- Check — BoQ findings are now grouped by Bill, Section and Category, with a bill filter and full detail on each finding
- Check — Uploads that aren't a valid Bill of Quantities are now clearly rejected instead of failing mid-run
- Platform — GPT-5.4 is now the default model across chat, checks and summaries
Fixes
- Check — A compliance run's progress and results now update on their own, so you no longer have to refresh the browser to see a run finish
Jul 3, 2026
Upload a Bill of Quantities PDF and Pyramid rebuilds it as a proper Excel workbook: because it understands the BoQ format, it splits the document into separate bills across tabs and lays every item out in the right columns for item, description, quantity, unit and rate. You no longer need to run a full compliance check just to get the data out, and the new extract-only mode returns the workbook on its own, ready to download or open full screen.
Improvements
- Codes — Open Library is now its own knowledge source for government circulars, practice notes and DEVB/CEDD press releases, with a department filter that surfaces press releases that were previously buried
- Ask — Chat no longer dead-ends. If one assistant finds nothing, Pyramid now checks your other assistants before saying it can't answer
- Connect — New API keys are automatically scoped to the environment you're in, so a key can't be created for the wrong one
- Check — BoQ checks now handle multi-column (matrix) rate items and deemed-included coverage more accurately, and flag out-of-section items
- Platform — Switching or creating an organisation refreshes cleanly, and new organisations have Projects on by default
Fixes
- Ask — Source counts now match the library that actually returned the documents
- Ask — Answers are kept if your connection drops, and reloading no longer shows a "request couldn't be processed" banner
- Ask — Fixed a chat crash during streaming when listing library documents or generating a chart

Upload a Bill of Quantities and Pyramid checks it for you — end to end. It reads the document structure, extracts every priced line item, applies the contract's preamble amendments, then matches each item against the Standard Method of Measurement (SMM). You get a clear pass/fail breakdown with each issue flagged as a missing item, wrong unit, or extra item.
Every finding comes with an AI explanation: what was expected versus what was found, the suggested correction, and the exact SMM rule or preamble amendment it was measured against — so a QS can verify the call in seconds instead of cross-referencing by hand. When the run finishes, Pyramid generates a downloadable report. What used to take days of manual checking now runs in minutes.
Improvements
- Check — Compliance runs now show elapsed time, and stuck runs can be cancelled from the panel
- Check — A clearer empty state appears when every analysis type is switched off, and the action to start a check is now plainly labelled
- Platform — Panel dividers are now draggable, so you can resize the workspace to suit a wide findings list or a wider chat
- Ask — For time-sensitive questions, the assistant now searches the web before falling back to your documents
Fixes
- Platform — "Process Documents" reliably triggers ingestion again at both organisation and project level
- Platform — Branding controls are consolidated into a single settings location instead of appearing in two places

The Pyramid API is here. Partners and DWSS providers can now connect their own systems to Pyramid in just a few minutes — then ask questions directly against their document database and get cited answers back, with no manual uploads in between.
Query your knowledge base with single questions, multi-turn chat with live streaming, or up to 500 questions at once with CSV export. Run compliance checks programmatically — ask "based on criteria X, Y and Z, is this compliant?" across a whole batch of documents and get structured results. Manage projects and upload, process, and download documents straight from your own systems — all secure by default with API key authentication and hardened request validation.
It's also a fast path to the Development Bureau (DevB) AI Technical Circular (Works) No. 3/2026, which sets new expectations for how consultants and contractors manage and adopt AI. Teams can stand up their own AI assistants in minutes and wire them directly into their DWSS — embedding compliant, cited AI into the systems they already use, rather than bolting on a separate tool.
